Join us at these events throughout the year!
On the Thursday of Roadrunner Days join us in the Convocation Center to get to know our UTSA Student Athletes and have fun at the first concert of the year! Get the year started by learning UTSA chants and cheers, playing games, and meeting the athletes participating in UTSA Football, Volleyball, Soccer, and Cross Country. UTSA Cheer, the Spirit of San Antonio Marching Band, UTSA Pom Squad, and Rowdy Crew are a part of this event to build our Roadrunner Spirit. It all wraps up with a live music performance.
Kickoff your game day with us outside the Alamodome! Take the Via busses from Laurel Village to the Alamodome to join us at the Alley for grilling, games, and more fun. When the team arrives we will cheer them on during Spirit Walk.
A UTSA traditional event that started in the spring of 1978, Fiesta UTSA is our way of celebrating Fiesta San Antonio on our campus. More than 60 student organizations host food and beverage booths while a live band plays in the middle of campus. Find us in April under the Sombrilla…but look out for the thousands of casacones we break each year.
Check the UTSA Homecoming schedule each year for one of the longest running traditional events at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Starting in 1978, student organizations have come together to sell food, beverages, and games. This family friendly evening event offers carnival rides, food booths, a Golf Cart parade, fireworks, and live music.
Tipoff the basketball season with games, skills challenges, costume contests, and candy! Join the UTSA Men's and Women's Basketball teams in the Convocation Center to get them pumped for the upcoming games.
Start the Spring semester by watching student athletes as they perform in a dance competition. Student Organizations are paired with and teach athletes from UTSA Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Golf, Track & Field, and Tennis a dance in their style. Previous winners include the Women's Basketball team and the Men's Baseball team.
Share your love for UTSA and your UTSA community with dinner and some live acoustic music. Spend the evening with us as we recognize the folk story of a couple who fell in love along the walking bridge between the Science and the Arts building.
Walk the tunnels of UTSA and listen to amazing music at this growing music festival. In partnership with Musicians of Business and the Student Union, we host multiple stages for student and local bands to showcase their music with artist setting up art installations through the tunnels. Look for this event in the Spring semester.
