Leadership and Service Lifestyle Floor at UTSA
What is it?
The Leadership and Service Lifestyle Floor, through Housing and Residence Life and the Student Leadership Center (SLC) and Volunteer Services, will provide a vast array of opportunities for students within these floors to create social change amongst their UTSA community and beyond. Throughout the academic year the students will be participating in a variety of activities and events that will utilize the components of the SLC mission statement: Education, Engagement, and Experience which will allow the student to evolve as a globally aware leader. Additionally they will align with the mission of Housing and Residence Life through empowering students to think critically, lead purposefully, and grow professionally.
Where is it?
The Leadership and Service Lifestyle Floor will be housed in the San Saba Residence Hall. The program will support the goals of this traditional residence hall through creating a community that fosters student development.
Why live here?
The Leadership and Service Lifestyle floor will reach out to students in order to connect them to their university and the campus community. The lifestyle floor will provide these students with opportunities to become engaged, but also learn balance within their involvement.
