UTSA Academic Building III nears completion
(Jan. 5, 2004)--Construction on Academic Building III is 80 percent complete and on schedule to open for classes fall 2004. The 240,000-square-foot facility will house classrooms, lecture halls, specialized teaching labs and academic support offices.

Currently, UTSA has $175 million dollars in construction projects underway including the Biotechnology, Sciences and Engineering (BSE) Building and a 1000-bed student housing project on West Campus of the 1604 Campus. Construction on BSE is scheduled to be complete spring 2005 and the student housing project completion date is fall 2004.
