(Oct. 5, 2007)--The honorary chairs for the eighth annual UTSA Alumni Rising Star Gala, Loretta Clarke, '87, '90, and Jeff Clarke, '86, were pleased at the levels of involvement in the Sept. 22 event at the Westin La Cantera Resort.
"We had support from more sponsors and volunteers than in any previous year," said Loretta Clarke. And, according to gala chair Susan Filyk, '95, when the tally is complete, it is expected that more will be raised this year for student scholarships than at any other alumni gala.
