UTSA photo of the day: Reaching for the stars

(Feb. 18, 2016) — Perched on the fourth floor of the Flawn Sciences Building on the UTSA Main Campus, the Curtis Vaughan Jr. Observatory attracts new Roadrunners to the wonders of astronomy every day. Named for local amateur astronomer and philanthropist Curtis Vaughan Jr., the observatory is also home to his 16” research-grade telescope, which he donated to UTSA in 2013.
