UTSA photo of the day: Blast from the past
(July 22, 2016) — A Brackenridge Park Skyride gondola arrives at the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures loading dock. The gondola will be refurbished and used in an upcoming exhibit, "1000 Parks and a Line in the Sky: Broadway, Avenue of the Future," a collaboration with the UTSA College of Architecture, Construction and Planning. Many San Antonians have fond memories of the skyrides which operated from the 1960s to the 1990s.
