David Gabler
Assistant Vice President for University Communications
Gabler is responsible for the offices of Public Affairs, Web and Multimedia Services, and Publications. He also is responsible for internal communications, marketing and advertising for the institution. Gabler, formerly director of public affairs at UTSA, joined the staff in 1995.
He came to UTSA from Trinity University, where he served as assistant director of public relations. He received a bachelor's degree in English and economics from Centre College in Kentucky and a master's degree in public administration from Trinity University. He pursued additional graduate work at the University of Exeter in England, where he was a Rotary Scholar.
