The University of Texas at San Antonio Police Department takes your safety very seriously and is providing this instructional video to assist with the actions that should be taken during a critical incident such as one involving “shots fired” on our campuses.  This 20 minute training video presented by the Center of Personal Protection and Safety demonstrates how to respond to an active shooter situation, providing critical  guidance on what to do to protect yourself.

The UTSA Police Department has prepared a presentation regarding “Active Shooters” that can be delivered to student, staff, and faculty groups which provides greater detail and a question-answer session.  Please contact our Crime Prevention Office at 210-877-4006 to schedule a presentation. (Must have a group of 10 or more before a presentation can be scheduled)
