Integration updates: New working groups and FAQs
Colleagues,
The Research, Discovery and Innovation Task Force now has a dedicated page on our integration website, complete with the group’s charter and membership. This task force is comprised of leadership, faculty and administrative staff from both universities and charged with helping drive the expansion of our mission by optimizing research administration for scalability and enhanced user experience, advancing commercialization efforts and fostering new research developments. Information regarding working groups falling under this task force will be added to the page in the weeks to come.
The Academic, Student and Faculty Affairs Task Force has launched three new working groups to tackle core aspects of our joint academic enterprise, including:
- Libraries and Collections Working Group
- Faculty Lifecycle Support Working Group
- Graduate Academic Program Working Group
- Will UT Health San Antonio students and employees have access to UTSA facilities like campus recreation?
- How will the integration impact the application and admissions processes for prospective students?
Thank you, as always, for all you do to make our two institutions shine.
With appreciation,
Taylor Eighmy, PhD
President, The University of Texas at San Antonio
Acting President, UT Health San Antonio
