Network Offerings

UTSA is participating in Eduroam, the world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. It allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain wireless Internet access across campus when visiting other participating institutions. Simply connect to the Eduroam SSID and log in with your UTSA email ID and password.

When you install eduroam, there is no need to request special accounts or access to use the campus technology. Just activate your device and choose 'eduroam' when searching for a wi-fi network to use.

The UT Research Cyberinfrastructure (UTRC) initiative was implemented to provide new capabilities that advance current and future research efforts across all UT System institutions. UTRC enables researchers to collaborate with each other via advanced computational systems, high bandwidth data access between the institutions and a large data storage capacity.

The UTRC offers the 14 institutionscentral and distributed technologies that allows researchers to develop applications, manage, and analyze data while working with other researchers in the UT system.
