TECHNOLOGY MAINTENANCE
Please be aware that UTS will be conducting upcoming maintenance impacting both Banner services and network connectivity.
Banner Maintenance
This weekend, beginning at 5 p.m. CDT on Friday, May 1 and lasting until 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, UTS will be conducting maintenance on Banner services. During this time, the following services will be unavailable: myUTSA Account, ASAP, DegreeWorks, Banner, AppEnhancer, and AppWorx.
After the system updates are completed, users are recommended to clear their browser cache to remove any outdated information. For instructions, visit this page.
Network Maintenance – Intermittent Verizon Phone Service Outages
On Tuesday, May 5, from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m., Verizon mobile voice and data users within the following building locations may experience intermittent service interruptions while network maintenance is conducted on the Distributed Antenna System (DAS) that supports Verizon services:
- John Peace Library (JPL)
- McKinney Humanities Building (MHB)
- Flawn Science Center (FLN)
- Science and Engineering Building (SEB)
- Engineering Building (EB)
- Biosciences Building (BSB)
- Plaza Norte Building (PNB)
- Student Union (SU)
- Convocation Center (CC)
- Margaret Batts Tobin Laboratories (MBT)
TECHNOLOGY ALERT
Tech Solutions is aware of a Microsoft 365 access issue impacting UT San Antonio Academic campus users. Users attempting to sign in to Microsoft 365 services may be repeatedly prompted to enter their credentials. Users who are already authenticated remain connected and should continue to have access. UTS technicians are actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Additional updates will be provided once the service has been restored.
