SharePoint Online Training

December 11, 2015

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) Customer Relations and Communications (CRC) team conducted a SharePoint Online Training class for UTSA faculty and staff on December 10 at the John Peace Library (3.02.38).

Dalinda Hanna, OIT Webmaster, and Rosalind Ong de Trevino, OIT Project Coordinator, guided the class and answered questions. Attendees were able to manage a team site and learned how to navigate important SharePoint features including adding documents, setting permissions, adding apps, and versioning.

Staff who attended this course gained an advantage by learning the technology that has been implemented throughout the university in order to serve as technology champions for their department. Course modules include: SharePoint basics, using team sites, working with documents, Office 2013 and SharePoint, and an overview of Office Delve, SharePoint MySites, Yammer, and Brainstorm Quickhelp.
