OIT Represented at Dream 2016 Conference

Vanessa Kenon, assistant vice provost for IT, is attending the Dream 2016 Conference from February 23-26 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia as a part of the Gates iPASS Project.

The higher-education conference attracts more than 1,900 attendees from over 200 colleges and universities from across the United States. Dream 2016 boasts comprehensive sessions and pre-institute workshops that are geared toward all aspects of higher education and student success.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Equity and Excellence,” and includes seven student-centric overarching themes:

  • Leadership & Vision
  • Data & Technology
  • Equity 
  • Teaching & Learning
  • Engagement & Communication 
  • Strategy & Planning 
  • Policies & Practices 

With the session and pre-institute workshops, attendees can participate in the Teaching and Learning Institute which delves deeper into how to produce engaging courses and educational programs.
