We at OIT were curious about how well we really knew our colleagues.  In this blog post series, we'll interview the many faces of OIT to get a better understanding of the people who work with technology at UTSA. So without any further ado let's meet Communications Specialist Carleigh Lutz.

 A Little About Me:

I am an all-out, full blood Aggie, class of '15, with a Bachelor of Arts in English. "I bleed maroon," as the saying goes in Aggieland, and you'll never see me without my Aggie ring. I grew up in a large family with five younger brothers to keep life interesting and lots of animals to complement our home.  Between playing the piano and singing in various choirs, I developed a passion for music in almost every way possible, including in swing and country dancing.

I have many different "favorites," but among them are: Gone with the Wind for a book, Pride and Prejudice for a movie, Blue Bell cookies and cream flavor for an ice cream, and Frozen for a Disney story. When I have free time, I can usually be found reading outdoors, writing small stories, or baking something sweet. I also have a fluffy cat who likes to follow me around the house and play with me when I'm home. I'm excited to join OIT here at UTSA, and look forward to all the opportunities that will arise within it.
