OIT Assistant Vice Provost Participates in Panel Discussion During the SXSWedu Conference

Vanessa Kenon, assistant vice provost for Information Technology, participated in a breakout session panel presentation on March 9 during the SXSWedu Conference being held March 7-10 in Austin, Texas.

The session, moderated by MindWaves Consulting Partners Michael Feldstein and Phil Hill, invited top campus leaders and advisors to share their stories of culture changes which assisted students in achieving their graduation goals. Kenon spoke of the new technologies that have been implemented on campus and noted how the iPASS grant has been monumental in achieving the university's goals.

Kennon was also featured in an on-air interview about the Gates projects and the importance of student access and success initiatives.
