Project Coordinator Rosalind Ong De Trevino, from the Office of Information Technology (OIT), Customer Relations and Communications (CRC) team, facilitated an "Office 365" training session for UTSA staff on Tuesday, May 3. The training session was held in a state-of-the art computer lab in the North Paseo Building (NPB).

During the interactive session, which was divided into four modules, attendees learned about Office 365 products, namely Skype and OneDrive for Business. All of these resources are available for FREE to UTSA faculty and staff.

Attendees were able to experiment with other features of Office365 as well as watch a live demo of Skype for Business. The latter contains several exciting features, one of which allows users to attend meetings without having to leave their desks. In addition, attendees learned about effectively saving and sharing files in OneDrive for Business online storage.

The training session culminated in a brief look at BrainStorm QuickHelp, the online tutorial website, which will eventually be replaced by SkillSoft.
