On August 24th,  UTSA's Office of Information Technology (OIT) Project Coordinator Rosalind Ong de Treviño along with Communications Specialists Danicia Steele and Nicole Duff of the Customer Relations and Communications (CRC) team participated at the "President's BBQ on the Plaza."  Attendees were given the chance to enjoy free food, music and were also provided with an opportunity to explore some of the UTSA resources available on campus. The event took place at the UTSA Downtown campus from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

During the event, the CRC team and Systems Analyst James Lee from UTSA's Student Computing Services (SCS) welcomed the students, faculty and staff and educated them on the services offered by UTSA OIT.  After stopping by the OIT Table students, faculty and staff were provided with new "OIT Swag."

New and retuning students were given the chance to kick-off of the new academic year with UTSA Roadrunner Days. From August 19-28, UTSA held a number of special events at both the Main and Downtown Campuses where students could learn about UTSA traditions, explore UTSA resources and have fun at different events. Roadrunner Days also create an opportunity for faculty and staff to get involved and learn more about UTSA resources.
