Question: I received a confirmation email for an account that's not mine or for changes that I did not request. What should I do?

Answer: The safest thing to do is to delete the email. If you're not sure whether you requested a change, contact the organization to verify the email is valid. Do not use any link or contact information in the email. You can look at the organization's website for contact information or other correspondence you have have from the organization (i.e. previous billing statement).
