Reflections on iPASS story published in EDUCAUSEReview Online

Project Coordinator Rosalind Ong De Treviño and Communications Specialist Nicole Duff from the Office of Information Technology (OIT), Customer Relations and Communications (CRC) team, wrote a blog post titled "Reflections on iPASS: Where We’ve Been & Where We’re Going" that was published by the EDUCAUSE Review Transforming Higher Ed column.

The article focused on the Integrated Planning and Advising for Student Success (iPASS) grant project progress UTSA has made over the past year in increasing the usage of student success tool as well as plans to expand on them.

UTSA is one of twenty-four institutions from across the nation that were selected to be a part of this project, funded in part by the BMGF and the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust. "iPASS includes tech-enabled advising, counseling, progress tracking, and academic early alerts (" focusing on improving three student facing functions (education planning, counseling and coaching, and targeting risk and intervention) by improving on current technology and services. This grant is a collaborative effort between the Provost Office, Academic Advising, and OIT CRC toward improving student success.
