Laurel Bodinus is an Artist Educator, sculptor and costume designer who has worked for the San Antonio Children’s Museum, Guadalupe Theatre and Magik Children’s Theatre. She has taught in Summer Art Studios since 1998.
We are seeking Artist Educators who are passionate about offering high quality visual art education to local youth grades K-5 in an inclusive, kind, professional and creative setting to develop a culture of value for arts education.

We believe in making the student experience the best that it can be to reflect the importance and significance of our Artist Educators and their work. We believe that art is integral to the community and want to offer the next generation of young, creative, community members an experience they will cherish through their development into an artist, educator, designer, or civic leader, and future arts advocate.
Applications will open for the 2024-25 Artist in Residence program for elementary schools in January 2024 for both Artist Educators and Campuses.
