The ability to build and lead resilient teams has never been more important.

Collective resilience is the team’s ability to overcome adversity, and then adapt and grow together because of that adversity. Resilient teams are the key to both individual and organizational resilience. Resilient teams are stronger together and they make learning and change possible. This certificate program provides the knowledge and skills required to build and lead resilient teams in organizations of any size and in any industry.

Certifications

UTSA offers exam preparation for three RBLP certifications. Each certification requires a separate exam provided by the Resilience Leadership Professional organization.

Front-line Supervisors (RBLP)

Front-line supervisors provide guidance and direction to workers. They set priorities for workers and oversee their activities. Front-line supervisors organize people to work in teams and may work alongside subordinates as a member of the team.

Middle Managers (RBLP-C)

Solving problems and overcoming challenges is a learning process. Middle managers facilitate the team’s ability to learn by analyzing team learning capacity, orienting on team goals, encouraging constructive dialogue, and building new mental models.

Senior Leaders (RBLP-T)

Organizational learning makes change possible and enables competitive advantage. Senior leaders support the organization’s ability to learn by analyzing organizational learning capacity, promoting a shared vision, fostering knowledge emergence, and ensuring knowledge diffusion.
