
Ways to participate in the strategic plan refresh process
Colleagues, As we approach the mid-point of our current strategic plan—five years in, five to go—I’d like to take a moment to reflect on how much we’ve achieved together working towards our three strategic destinations. We recently launched a university-wide conversation to clarify our strategic vision moving forward, as our refresh process is an opportune time to affirm that we are aligning our strategic vision with our long-range financial plan. To oversee the refresh process, I have appointed Dr. Kimberly Andrews Espy, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, to chair a Steering Committee comprised of senior campus leaders, including representatives from our shared governance organizations, the Faculty and Staff Senates, Department Chairs Council and Student Government Association. This group will work together to develop a proposal for our refreshed strategic plan, ensuring we meet our deadline to present the plan to UT System next fall.
