Real Estate, Construction and Planning (RECaP) strives to provide innovative responses to UTSA’s growth needs through mindful planning and design, conscious construction and best practice real estate management. The RECaP team is designed to be a full-service group that effectively procures, plans, builds, inspects and manages occupancy of the UTSA’s land holdings and buildings.
University Real Estate Office (UREO)
UREO is responsible for real estate transactions involving The University of Texas at San Antonio property holdings.
Campus Planning is comprised of the University Architect, Space Management and the Office of Sustainability. These offices work together as a department to mindfully plan support for the forecasted university growth and initiative needs.
Campus Construction manages the building and improvement environment on the UTSA campuses, ranging from new building construction to campus infrastructure improvements to small interior renovations and retrofits.
Inspections and Plan Review
Inspections and Plan Review supports campus construction and renovation projects through best practice quality control and quality assurance measures.
