UTSA’s Campus Planning guides the future growth of the campus-built environment while actively analyzing current resources to ensure alignment with university priorities and commitments. We employ a holistic view of campus development that integrates land and building utilization with campuswide systems. We engage in the development of our landscape, transportation, utilities and other infrastructure to create unified environments that further the pursuit of UTSA’s strategic destinations. Campus planning coordination efforts are led by three departments:
Space Management: Manages the accuracy and analyzation of the university’s space data
Office of the University Architect: Engages in development, maintenance, advocacy and refinement of the university’s Master Plan
Office of Sustainability: Develops UTSA’s programs, projects and practices that incorporate the three pillars of sustainability in accordance with University of Texas Systems Policy of sustainable practices.
