Research Interests
Dr. Fernandez is the Primary Investigator in the UTSA Vision and Artificial Intelligence Lab (VAIL). VAIL constructs deep theoretical models, considering adversarial examples and cybersecurity approaches and applying these models to breadth of real-world technologies. Focus areas include artificial intelligence, deep learning, and computer vision.
