The President’s Initiative on Preventing Sexual Assault and Misconduct provides a framework for the university’s commitment to advance a zero-tolerance environment for sexual violence and harassment, ensuring a safe place for all Roadrunners to study, work and live.
The goal of this initiative is to identify and launch activities that will increase national and international recognition of UTSA as an institution of research excellence and to reach status as a Research Intensive University, as identified by the National Research University Fund and Carnegie Classifications.
The President’s Initiative on Respectful Discourse establishes a framework to provide the UTSA community with the knowledge, tools and skills to engage in serious and productive exchanges of views. Integrating legal, cultural, political and philosophical issues tied to free speech, this initiative promotes graduating world-engaged civic leaders of tomorrow, and creating an institutional culture built upon respect for others.
The Strategic Communications Task Force will develop a comprehensive, integrated marketing program that builds brand awareness and positive perceptions of UTSA.
