National Security Collaboration Center

Charge

The goal of this initiative is to establish a National Security Collaboration Center (NSCC) at UTSA to advance research, education, and workforce development in the areas of cybersecurity, data analytics, and cloud computing. The NSCC will build a collaborative and impactful ecosystem engaging government, industry and academia to solve the nation’s greatest issues surrounding cybersecurity. This initiative includes the construction of the new Computational Research Building (CRB), a 5-story facility that will include a Cyber Laboratory/Range, Data Analytics Laboratory, Cloud Computing and Visualization technologies and an Innovation Factory.

  • Build/launch a federally sponsored research center with federal partners
