The Office of Student Advocacy, Violence Prevention and Empowerment is a dedicated resource on campus to provide information, resources, training and advocacy for members of the UTSA community who may have been impacted by sexual misconduct, relationship violence, stalking, sexual harassment and/or gender-based discrimination.

Our office is charged with fostering a culture of care, where all members of our university community are responsible for preventing sexual misconduct and are willing to speak up if they have concerns. Not only do we want the members of our community to be well informed of the resources that are available, we want survivors to be aware of the support services that the university offers.
