Roadrunners encouraged to give feedback on their instructors and courses
(April 3, 2017) -- Students at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) can share their experiences from a cool class and tell other Roadrunners about a unique learning opportunity from their professors. The spring course evaluations period is now open through April 17. UTSA leaders want to hear what students have to say about their classes and instructors from the spring semester.
Log on to ASAP to complete the course evaluation.
The evaluations are an important part of the academic review process at UTSA. The results are provided to instructors, department chairs and deans so they can improve classes and instruction at UTSA. They are also used as part of the regular performance appraisal conducted for each instructor for merit. Professors are encouraged to talk with their students on why the evaluations matter and how the university uses the feedback to improve the top-tier learning experience.
The surveys are easy to use and are anonymous. Students are asked five information statements and two essential statements with answers on a scale from one to five. The overall course ratings will be posted on Bluebook so fellow students can see advice on which classes to take.
For more information, contact Doug Atkinson at 210-458-4709, Leanne Charlton at 210-458-8010 or email them at evaluate@utsa.edu.
UTSA is ranked among the top 400 universities in the world and among the top 100 in the nation, according to Times Higher Education.
