(April 20, 2018) -- It was a day to remember as the UTSA community celebrated Fiesta UTSA. More than 1,000 Roadrunners came together for this family-friendly event on April 20 on the UTSA Main Campus.
The iconic Sombrilla Plaza was filled with more than 100 colorful food and activity booths, the largest number of participating organizations in Fiesta UTSA history. Fiesta goers of all ages enjoyed games, live music by The e7 Band, dancing, medal exchanges and cascarones. Students sold food, drinks and other items to raise funds for student organizations. Fiesta royalty also stopped by as President Taylor Eighmy experienced his first Fiesta UTSA.
