(Sept. 6, 2018) -- The UTSA Alumni Association will kick off the 2018 football season in a new tailgating area at the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures. The first tailgate of the season will be celebrated before the UTSA Football game against Baylor on Saturday, Sept. 8. The tailgate begins at 3 p.m.
With convenient access and just a short walking distance to the stadium, this year’s new hub will offer all the same spirit-filled festivities – food, meeting new and old friends, football, and rallying for the Roadrunners!
Steve Woodall, senior director of Alumni Programs, is excited to introduce UTSA alumni to their new tailgating home.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to partner with the UTSA Hemisfair Campus to have our tailgate party at the ITC,” Woodall said. “The venue may have changed, but we’re still going to get Rowdy!”
Tailgate admission is free to all UTSA Alumni Association members. Non-member adult admission is $25 and children 16 and under are free. Anyone who wants to get Rowdy is welcome.
