(March 25, 2019) -- The UTSA Alumni Association has partnered with VITA—the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program—to help the UTSA community meet the looming tax filing deadline. IRS-certified volunteers will provide free, basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing. VITA offers free tax help to people who make $55,000 or less, as well as persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.
The on-campus assistance sessions are open to everyone who qualifies, including students, faculty, staff and alumni.
There are several session opportunities to take advantage of this free service:
Tuesday, April 2, 5 - 8 p.m.
Katz Alumni Center, Bauerle Road Garage, Main Campus
Thursday, April 4, 5 - 8 p.m.
Katz Alumni Center, Bauerle Road Garage, Main Campus
Friday, April 5, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Student Union, Willow Room (SU 2.02.12), Main Campus
