UTSA EMBA students engage in class.
(April 22, 2019) -- Two UTSA College of Business Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs were ranked by CEO Magazine in its 2019 Global MBA Rankings. The college’s Executive MBA program was ranked No. 11 globally and No. 4 in North America. The UTSA MBA was ranked as a Tier One Global MBA program.
“The CEO magazine ranking is a testament to what can be accomplished when you bring together outstanding students, superb faculty and the all-star team we have in the CPE,” said Bruce Rudy, senior executive director of the Center for Professional Excellence. “It’s wonderful that we are able to provide a world-class city like San Antonio with a world-class EMBA.”
CEO Magazine launched its annual Global MBA Rankings in 2012. This year’s ranking included more than 144 schools from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, New Zealand, North America and South America.
“Being globally recognized for our MBA program is an outstanding honor,” said Pamela Smith, UTSA College of Business associate dean of graduate studies. “It is a testament to the quality of our faculty, the international diversity of our student body and the academic rigor of our MBA program.”
Using a fact-based ranking system, CEO Magazine evaluated MBA programs based on the following areas: quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, faculty-to-student ratio, price, international exposure, work experience, professional development, gender parity and delivery methods.
The UTSA College of Business graduate business degrees are taught by top faculty and provide students with technical and professional skills that can be implemented immediately in the workplace in high-demand fields. In addition to the MBA program, the college offers a variety of specialty business degrees in areas such as cybersecurity, data analytics and finance.
