Watch: UTSA commemorates 50th anniversary at the Alamo

(June 7, 2019) -- Elected and community leaders, Roadrunners and friends of the university gathered in front of the Alamo on Wed., June 5 to celebrate UTSA’s 50th anniversary.

The 50th Anniversary Commemoration included two UTSA founders, the sons of three additional founders and remarks by Hope Andrade of the Alamo Endowment Board of Directors, Texas First Lady Cecilia Abbott, UTSA Development Board Chair Cathy Obriotti Green, UTSA President Taylor Eighmy and former Texas Poet Laureate Carmen Tafolla.
