MAY 15, 2020 — UTSA is committed to supporting the university community during remote learning and operations. Here is your latest digest of university news and tips.
COMMUNITY NEWS
COMMUNITY ASSIST: The university’s new Career in Focus workforce initiative is a series of free and discounted online career advancement courses intended to help San Antonians, particularly those furloughed and unemployed due to the pandemic, sharpen their skills and explore potential new careers. The programs are open to everyone, including staff and faculty.
LIBRARY RETURNS UPDATE: With the end of the spring semester, UTSA Libraries has created a system that allows people who’ve borrowed books and other items to safely return them to the John Peace Library on Main Campus. Return bins will be placed in the foyer of the second floor entrance, overlooking Sombrilla Plaza, from noon to 5 p.m. this weekend, May 16–17. Since the library building will remain closed, if you have a borrowed laptop, someone from Tech Café will contact you with instructions about returning it.
UTSA DINING UPDATE: The Roadrunner Café will close for the summer beginning Saturday, May 16, and all campus dining locations will remain closed throughout the terms.
