SEPTEMBER 30, 2020 — As part of the university’s effort to encourage eligible Roadrunners to vote, UTSA will host Drive-Thru Registration on Thursday, October 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brackenridge Parking Lot 2, next to University Oaks.
Roadrunners in Action, a campuswide initiative to promote voter education, is partnering with nonpartisan nonprofits Move Texas and Texas Rising to host Drive-Thru Registration. Community members can safely register to vote from their vehicle. Voter deputy registrars will assist individuals in completing the registration process and answer any questions. The event is open to all UTSA community members and the public.
“Facilitating safe options for voter registration is an important step in promoting civic engagement. I am proud the team was able to collaborate on this event and we are grateful to our partners,” said Brandi Scott, director of the Multicultural Student Center for Equity and Justice and chair of Roadrunners in Action.
Enter campus from UTSA Boulevard at Barshop Boulevard and head to Brackenridge Parking Lot 2, next to University Oaks, where voter deputy registrars will be stationed.
