“We are pleased to be a part of this event dedicated to helping military children have a brighter holiday season,” said Kat Carrillo, UTSA Alliance Affinity Group board member. “San Antonio is Military City, USA, and UTSA is a military-friendly–recognized campus. It is important that we come together to let our military community know how much we care about their families during these extraordinary and challenging times. We invite the UTSA community to mask up and drive by to drop off many toys this year.”
The mission of the Rowdy Warrior Military Veterans Alliance is to promote the inclusion of a diverse community and culture of veterans, their family members and supporters at UTSA.
The Center for Military Families focuses on making a positive difference in education, health and the overall well-being of military families in San Antonio.
The Center for Military Affiliated students is the epicenter for all veteran and military family member services at UTSA, including G.I. Bill certification, Hazlewood certification, Military Affiliated Collaborative, and connections to internal and external partners. CMAS supports the mission and vision of the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs by physically consolidating the resources required to support the entire military-affiliated student life cycle.
