MARCH 5, 2021 — UTSA’s longstanding partnership with Laredo College was reinforced this week with the renewal of a general articulation agreement, which will help LC students earn their bachelor’s degrees at UTSA by facilitating a smoother transition process.
UTSA alumna and Laredo College provost and vice president for academic affairs Marisela Rodriguez Tijerina worked alongside UTSA associate vice provost for undergraduate studies Mark Appleford and a committee representing their respective campuses to renew the agreement.
“This articulation agreement is just the beginning of a long-term partnership,” Rodriguez Tijerina said. “Our goal is to continue this partnership so that we formulate transfer pathways that will assist students to transfer seamlessly into UTSA. This will help students stay on track and prevent them from taking unnecessary credits that will adversely impact their financial aid and graduation timeline.”
