Upcoming vaccine clinics open to students, faculty, staff and family members

MAY 6, 2021 — Editor’s note: The following message was sent via email today from UTSA Recovery Operations to all faculty, staff and students:

This month, a variety of on-campus COVID-19 vaccine clinics and other appointment opportunities are available to make it easy to do your part to protect your health and the health of our community.

On-Campus Vaccine Clinics

Multiple vaccine clinics will be offered on the Main Campus. These clinics are an excellent way to get vaccinated before heading into summer. Remember, getting vaccinated allows you to resume many social activities—some without a mask!

Clinics are open to current UTSA students, faculty, staff and family members. To secure an available vaccine ahead of time, we encourage you to register for an appointment via the link provided in the email sent today by UTSA Recovery Operations. Registration is first-come, first-served. Walk-ins are accepted while supplies last.

Clinics are available on the following dates:

  • May 13, 14, 17, and 24: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • June 3: 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Learn more about what to expect at your appointment, which forms to complete and where to park when you arrive.

UT Health San Antonio

Our partners at UT Health San Antonio continue to offer appointments to the Roadrunner community. Walk-in appointments are available at the School of Nursing Hurd Auditorium, while scheduled appointments are accepted at numerous locations. Learn more about UT Health vaccine opportunities, including how to walk in or sign up for an appointment.

Sign Up for Vaccine Availability Alerts

Stay up to date on appointment opportunities for the Roadrunner community by signing up for text message notifications whenever new opportunities are available. To sign up, text UTSAvaccine to 226787. There is no cost for joining, but standard messaging and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. You can opt out at any time.

Remember—the UTSA Public Health Task Force strongly encourages all students, faculty and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Getting vaccinated is an excellent way to protect your health, as well as the health of your family and friends.

Birds up, sleeves up!
