Women's Symposium: Empowering Leaders

Join us for the fourth annual International Women’s Day Symposium: Empowering Leaders. Our keynote speaker, Vanice Hayes serves as Dell Technologies’ Chief Diversity and Inclusion officer, responsible for the company’s global diversity and inclusion initiatives. She will share career and leadership advice. The event is open to all, students, faculty, and staff, to come to hear career from a top executive. Women and especially women of color belong in all places where business is happening. Our theme is empowering women leaders and showing that our students can and should be in positions of leadership.

Rose Rodriguez, she/her pronouns, is an academic librarian at Northwest Vista College. She has helped create several new services such as the Pop-up Library, Book a Librarian, and the NVC Zine Library. She is interested in critical information literacy and teaching with zines. Rose enjoys reading graphic novels, writing, playing pinball, spending time with her dogs, and helping others.
