Dr. Itzel Corona Aguilar – Just Transformations Initiative Postdoc Fellow at Penn State

After graduating from UTSA in Anthropology and Women’s Studies, Honors College alum Itzel Corona Aguilar received their Ph.D. from the Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies Department at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Their research interests focus on migration, detention/incarceration, queer and trans fugitivity, and faith.
