Support Our Work

As a new program with modest seed funding from the UT Board of Regents, we do not (yet) receive sustaining funds from UTSA.

Ways to Help

We strive to advocate on behalf of individuals in recovery and to ensure that others have access to making lifestyle changes which promote good health and stewardship of the University and the San Antonio community as a whole. With your gifts we are building a foundation in which present and future students in recovery will have a fulfilling and empowering experience as they pursue their academic and personal goals.

In addition to the ability to donate online, we offer the following ways to support CCR:

Become a Cornerstone for Collegiate Recovery at UTSA

  • Your pledged donation of $1,200 per year (or $100 each month) toward the operating expenses of CCR will provide assistance for CCR to develop program curriculum, create our safe and inviting space and deliver counseling services for your student in recovery. In return for your contribution, you will receive a quarterly newsletter on the growth of the Center for Collegiate Recovery at UTSA, including HERO stories of our students and will be invited to our annual brunch held in the fall. There, you will meet some of our students in recovery whom CCR is crucial to as well as other vested supporters in the community.

Join our Pillars Council

  • Our Pillars Council is composed of individuals in the San Antonio region and others in the recovery field who are dedicated to CCR’s sustainability. By joining this council with a pledged donation of $5,000 each year for a 5-year period, you will be providing the necessary funds to ensure that students in recovery at UTSA continue to receive quality support in a healthy environment on campus.

Create an Endowment

  • Make an investment in a student’s future by establishing an endowment to benefit The Center for Collegiate Recovery. Our supporters who choose to donate trusts sometimes are paying respect to a family member or friend who suffered from addiction or out of passion for recovery efforts or UTSA. You have the freedom to select an area in CCR which matches your interest. From program support to experiential activities or scholarships, your trust can take almost any form, and your loved one or family will live on.
