Meet the Counseling Services Staff

Counseling Services is accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services. All counselors have a minimum post graduate degree at the master's or doctoral level in psychology, social work, and/or counseling. Most of the staff member are licensed in the State of Texas as independent practitioners in their respective areas. To get and maintain these credentials, counselors must adhere to a strict code of ethics, serve in clinical internships, have their clinical practice supervised, pass comprehensive exams in in their fields, and participate in ongoing professional education to keep their practices current. For information about professional licensing and certification, access information with the Department of State Health Services.
