UT San Antonio's Office of Governmental Relations (OGR) is charged with leading the University's engagement with public officials.


Our mission is to:

Advance institutional priorities 
Actively promote the university's funding, resources and policy needs to city, county and key legislative and leadership offices.

Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with elected officials, staff, and governmental agencies

Serve as an information resource for university leadership and, as appropriate, the campus community, and as the primary point of contact for elected officials, staff, and key government offices
