UTSA Anti-Spam Quarantine Report If you receive an email from UTSA Spam Postmaster with a Quarantine Report, it means that the Sybari Anti-spam system has quarantined an email that was sent to you. The system may do this because of certain key words in the subject or body of the mail, if it is from an outside source, or for a variety of other reasons. The report is designed to inform you of this action so you can then decide what actions to take.
The Release icon will automatically release the mail in the quarantine to your Inbox. However, this will only affect the mail you just received. Future mail from the user or with the same subject may get caught in the Quarantine. The Approve icon will automatically release the mail in the quarantine to your Inbox, as well as create a rule that will let future mail from the sender arrive in your mailbox without delay. You can also view mail in your Quarantine by clicking the My Quarantine tab on the Sybari site, which can also be reached from the UTSA Webmail page. After selecting the item or items in your quarantine, you can then perform five separate actions:
