Project Update: Kyle Seale Parkway Improvements

Road closures for improvements at Kyle Seale Parkway at the Park West Campus will remain in place until April 1, 2023.

In a collaborative effort, UTSA and UT Health San Antonio have been working closely with the City of San Antonio, CPS and SAWS on all required site and utility entitlements to widen portions of Kyle Seale Parkway. Additionally, this project provides utility infrastructure and an access road for the UT Health San Antonio Medical Office Building, slated to open in fall 2023.

Due to unforeseen delays, combined with our ongoing coordination with TxDOT on the 1604 expansion project, we are unable to reopen Kyle Seale Parkway this fall as originally anticipated. During construction, both traffic lanes will remain closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Road closure signs will be posted at Hausmann Road and the N. Loop 1604 West Access Road, with barricades in place to identify the closure.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we thank you for your patience as we work diligently toward the reopening of the improvement connection from Hausmann Road to N. Loop 1604 West.
