Financial Aid Outreach would like to thank Kaeli Brown for a stellar job presenting the National Training for Counselors and Mentors at Café College on December 3rd.  This training was a six-hour course for the San Antonio Education Partnership, which administrates Café College under the guidance of Mayor Julian Castro’s Office, as well as for counselors from area high schools on all topics of financial aid.  Kaeli was given a very minimal amount of time to prepare for the training, and she received immense praise and thanks from Café College and the area counselors for her extensive knowledge of financial aid, her professional attitude, and her pleasant demeanor.  Thanks so much, Kaeli, for the amazing work you’ve done!

As our office’s Ombudsperson you often hear from students during challenging financial times and you understand well how to blend your True Colors “Blue” with all the other colors so that you are fair to a wide spectrum of students while remaining compassionate. The students of UTSA are lucky to have an advocate in Financial Aid & Enrollment Services like you. Our staff are equally lucky to have someone with your experience and leadership skills.
