JENELL BRAMLAGE
SENIOR ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT OF INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGIC SERVICES

Jenell Bramlage, Ph.D., serves as Senior Associate Vice President for Strategic Services and Support at UTSA. Her proven record in higher education—with academics, institutional research, and support services—gives her insight from all areas of higher education, bringing a unique perspective in portfolio management and support services across the enterprise. With tremendous expertise in the accreditation field, she has also worked for both regional and national accreditation bodies in the U.S. for more than 10 years. These include the Higher Learning Commission and Middle States Commission on Higher Education, where she was selected to serve as an assessment e-mentor and accreditation liaison officer. Here at UTSA, she is responsible for overseeing strategic services and support for the Tech Solutions department, including tier 1 IT support, portfolio governance and management, strategic planning, financial planning, budgeting and purchasing, human resources, strategic services, and the digital customer experience.

Bramlage brings more than 27 years of experience in higher education to her role at UTSA. Previously, she served as Executive Director of Institutional Research and Assessment at Bucks County Community College. She also served as associate vice president for Academic Affairs, director of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness, and professor and department chair in the business administration department—all at the University of Northwestern Ohio. Bramlage obtained a Ph.D. in organization and management, with a specialization in leadership from Capella University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Findlay.
