UTSA announces times for spring 2024 Commencement ceremonies

MARCH 7, 2024 — UTSA has announced the times for its spring 2024 Commencement ceremonies.

In this defining moment of their academic journeys, more than 3,500 UTSA students will be eligible to receive their degrees in one of two ceremonies scheduled on Friday, May 17, at the Alamodome.

UTSA’s first Commencement ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday to honor graduates from the College of Education and Human Development, the College for Health, Community and Policy, the College of Sciences and University College.

The second Commencement ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday for graduates of the Carlos Alvarez College of Business, College of Liberal and Fine Arts, and the Margie and Bill Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design.

The Doctoral Conferral Ceremony will take place for doctoral graduates at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, in the Arts Building, Recital Hall (2.03.02B). Doctoral graduates are also welcome to attend the Alamodome ceremony for their academic college on Friday, but the hooding process will occur only at the Wednesday ceremony.
