Governance
The ADA Accessibility Project is overseen by two primary governance groups: (1) the ADA & Accessibility Advisory Committee and (2) the Accessibility Coordination Team for Electronic and Information Resources Remediation (ACTER). Under these oversight bodies are working groups that work on specific tasks. This governance and reporting structure provides decision-making and project support.
Together, this group is charged with ensuring that UTSA’s digital content is accessible and leading work to comply with Department of Justice regulations by April 2026 and beyond.
